Chairperson
Elias Hwenga is a seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with over two decades of executive and board-level experience across multiple sectors. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Radar Holdings Limited and serves in various strategic leadership roles, including Chairman of Northern Tobacco, Director at Ster-Kinekor Zimbabwe, Director at MicroLoan Foundation (UK), and Project Director at Eleagnus Investments. With a strong background in accounting, corporate governance, and investment development, Elias has extensive expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and business growth. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the University of Zimbabwe and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe. Through his leadership, he has played a key role in building sustainable enterprises, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving impactful investment initiatives.
Rodwell is an English law qualified corporate lawyer with four years’ experience advising on complex cross-border transactions, regulatory matters and general company law. He acts for leading financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, private capital sponsors and investment funds, and has practised across three of the world’s key financial centres — London, the UAE and Guernsey.
He trained and qualified at the London office of Freshfields, before relocating to the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) to join the corporate team of another elite, US-headquartered global law firm. More recently, he has developed his practice in Guernsey’s offshore legal market.
Rodwell’s experience includes secondments to key clients: at UBS, he assisted with the regulatory aspects of a major complex transaction, and at a leading government-owned UAE investment firm, he advised on group legal affairs and discrete corporate matters.
Ngaa is an investment executive with more than 20 years of experience across African markets, specialising in alternative investments. His expertise spans private equity, agribusiness, commodities, infrastructure, and real estate.
He currently serves as an Executive at Mangwana Capital and has previously held senior leadership positions at First Mutual Wealth, Nedbank Corporate & Investment Banking (South Africa), and an Africa-focused trade finance fund domiciled in Mauritius.Throughout his career, Ngaa has led the origination, structuring, and management of investments across multiple sectors and jurisdictions, with a strong focus on creating long-term value and sustainable growth opportunities across the African continent.
Ngaa holds an MBA from Henley Business School (UK).
Tendayi is a results oriented technology industry leader with over 20 years’ experience in, developing and managing complex IT solutions. Plays key role in digital transformation programs aimed at creating new revenue streams, enhancing customer experience, implementing cost optimization programs whilst maintaining technology excellence through the development and implementation of strategic roadmaps.
He currently serves as the Head of Information and Technology Solutions for the Nyaradzo Group and has previously held senior positions for Zimnat, Telecel and Econet. He holds and Engineering degree from the University of Zimbabwe and an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire (UK).
Zondi is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of professional experience across African markets, specialising in advisory, audit, and executive leadership with deep expertise in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, energy, and FMCG.
He currently serves as an Advisory and Audit Partner at Crowe Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe, part of the Crowe Global network, and has previously held senior leadership roles including Group Chief Executive of Zimplow Holdings, Financial Director at United Refineries, and Managing Director at Atria Asset Management and Havilah Gold.
Throughout his career, Zondi has led organisations through turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and capital market fundraising, with a strong focus on corporate governance and enterprise-wide value creation. He serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Audit
Committee Chairman of NMB Bank, and as a Board Member and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Allied Timbers Limited. He previously served as Chairman of RADAR Holdings for 13 years, during which he was key to its turnaround, and is a former President of the Engineering, Iron and Steel Association of Zimbabwe. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe and holds business leadership qualifications from Manchester Business School and UCT.
